I'll be interested to compare this to one of the Steve Beattie kits. I would not imagine that they would be that different. Toto
I had an inkling you would go for green, my choice also... the downside of modeling the TOPS blue era is pretty much everything has to be blue as well... not that that is an issue.
I think its the proprietors rather than the couriers ( I'll apologise if I'm wrong ) he did say something about it being the end of the week. maybe just been to much to get it in the post sooner. even at 12 quid. however .... cottage industry and I think I am meant to be sympathetic with that so ...... no big deal, it wont be getting built any time soon probably. grumpy old toto
If I remember correctly it took about three days Toto, he posted it on the Saturday morning and it came on the Tuesday before lunch.
When I bought the Hymek detailing kit from PRMRP it took about two weeks from cashing the cheque, their explanation was they did this as a hobby and were not a business. This is the lead in times we have to expect with cottage industries.
Regardless, there should still be some sort of expectation, business or not. You are still paying postage. I'm in no rush so no problem but it's still no way to run a business ( which is what it is ). You are left wondering if it will arrive. Paul has been stung recently. Possibly twice by these poor little cottage industries. ( who now have his cash ). If I like the product, it would not put me off ordering more but I think I'd make expectation on delivery duration a bit clearer when I place the order.
Aye right enough it'll be taking it's place in a loooong que to enter the fabrication shop (did you feel that dig in the ribs sir), I remember someone recently saying I won't be buying anymore loco's for a while - we now know the definition of a while Paul
