Hands free bogie decoupling

    Hey everybody,

    As the title suggests, I'm about to start working on my fiddle yard and/or rolling stock work shop section and I'd like to be able to decouple locos and rolling stock without touching it.

    I'm currently using knuckle couples, I'll have to grab the brand later to show exactly.

    Appreciate any help/guidance,

    Have you viewed Gormo's tutorial on knuckle couplers?...seems to be just the thing.

    I thought Gormo's threads dealt with hook & chain and modified Bachmann tension lock couplers....

    Sol is correct lads,
    I have tinkered with Tension Locks, re the Brian Kirby method and now 3 Link Chain and Hook system.
    I have no knuckle couplers or Kadees in my repertoire but I`m sure someone will jump in with the appropriate knowledge.

    Thanks team,

    So rare earth magnets are the way to go?

    Not sure where to get those, will they effect the locos or DCC chips?

    The magnets in tracks do not affect locos or DCC chips/decoders otherwise the loco magnets would affect chips/decoders.

    I got my rare earth magnets off Ebay
