The 3D story thus far

On the subject of 3d printers the one I use is an UP2 that uses ABS or PLA filament. You can pick one up for as little as £750.00 these days. Mine's 4 years old and in need of replacement but can still do menial tasks. It's pretty good when it works though.

and it comes from the EU so no import charges.

For FDM type printers I don't think you can beat it.
I am still getting to grips with the Photon DLP 3D printer.
