Nice picture and what a lovely cat you have there Matt, you know the houses in the background do look suspiciously similar to the same types of semi found in Jersey. I had a friend who lived in one at the top of St Hellier on the hill as you go towards St Saviour.
That's Her Majesty Queen Tilly in the pic, she's been a wonderful, sweet natured companion to us for the last 10 years. Are the houses in Jersey art deco style? Matt
My entry. Bear our Lab'/Boxer cross, he's a BIG lad!! Christmas 2017. A big mistake getting him a squeaky snake Pete.
Hi Matt firstly you have a lovely cat... we like cats too yes they are Art Deco and the bay windows have curved panes of glass on the sides, everything is rendered and the eaves have quite enormous overhangs, very different from the Arts & Crafts Houses and Art Deco offerings to be found in North Staffordshire where I originate from.
This is my official entry. While the quality of the photograph itself isn't great, it being underwater and all plus it was taken 25 or more years ago. I do hope the content makes up for any quality lack though.
They are coming fast and furious now. Some real characters. Queen Tilly us a beautiful cat and such a nice back drop. Bear has been opening Chrissie pressies and is looking very in charge.
Nice, our house is the same with curved windows. The house in the background of the photo is next door and as you may be able to see has replaced the windows with double glazing. Ours has the original metal framed windows for that extra art deco-ness! Tilly is having to get used to having a baby around having had us to herself for ten years. She's a good girl though and is adapting well. Matt
I hope you all realise that due to my non entry status ........ Lulu is in tears. Inconsolable she is.
My entry: Hattie and Sykes saying, "We're so cute, you can't ignore us." I can't do much with the background clutter - cats will pose where they choose to,not where their slaves want them to. IMG_20171101_182504 cropped by Jeffrey Lynn, on Flickr
We don't have any pets, but here's an animal photo I took at London Zoo in 1975: And, no, I wouldn't want one of those as a pet.....
