Graham and warm to the forum from a very wet Dundee Great to have you on board and look forward to hearing about yourself and your modelling adventures Once again welcome to the forum Paul
Hi and thank you for your warm welcome, a lot different from another Forum! Rob, we have met, after a fashion. We both stayed in the same Hotel, after Guildex 2018 and we breakfasted at adjacent tables. I model in 7mm, specifically Wallingford, Great Western Railway, in a purpose built shed at the bottom of my garden. In addition I volunteer at Didcot, though this has been curtailed by my Wife's declining mobility and of course Covid. I look forward to this Forum and hope it is as useful as it is friendly. Graham.
Welcome from another GoG member. They, (platform1mrc), seem a very friendly and knowledgable group...different from many of the 'politicians' at present on the Guild forum! I'm split between the S&DJR and the GWR (I originate from Bath). Looking forward to your 'exploits' in 7mm. BW.
Hi Guys, a pleasure to have you with us. If 7mm holds your interest, you will be at home here. We cover all scales but have a great contingent of 7mm modelers who spoil us with their build projects and general modeling knowledge. No politics here .... we don't do politics. The goal is just to provide a space for everyone to enjoy and contribute. Feel free to get your various projects up and running as I suspect there will be a load of interest. Again cheers and welcome aboard. Toto
G'day Graham, Welcome aboard from a wet and drizzly Sydney. Plenty of useful info and talented members on the forum, just waiting for you to chew their ears off ! Lucky I model HO and OO, just dabbling in O at the moment. Looking forward to reading about your own modelling adventures in the near future. Enjoy the camaraderie and banter that is P1MRC. Cheers, Gary.
Welcome to the forum. I've just joined the GOG as I've started in 0 gauge, but I'm keeping well clear of any politics! Keith.
Like Toto says, politics ready do have no place on here, the success of Platform 1 MRC is down to sharing experiences, modeling knowledge, bench skills and supporting newcomers to the hobby and of course good lashings of light hearted humour. Enjoy and welcome again.
