The drivers will stay loaded on Windows as long as you make Windows update them to the current version, as I explained in my post #11. I don't have the LI-USB anymore, but I still have the 23170 Decoder Programmer which uses the same FTDI chip. Its drivers stayed on board after the last Windows refresh (version 1803).
Hi Robert, I tried the update from the device driver with no joy. Windows could not find any drivers. The Raspberry Pi (Linux ) just worked. End of story and Windows 10 for me. I'm not shelling out £130 plus for a new interface just to use Win10. You can't make windows update what it can't find. This could of course be down to PC hardware Intel/Amd chipsets etc or indeed if Lenz or FTDI sign the drivers. Thanks again for your Help. Col
Hi there - suggest you check which version you have now? It's possible Windows updated it automatically. Display the driver version via the device drivers in control panel: if it's 2.12.28 then you're on the latest version and it will stay put.
