A kit I build back in the early 2000's - So text may be limited. I also seem to have lost some early photos of the chassis construction. Probably a little brave of me for my first kit.
Thanks Pete. Be better if it ever goes around a bloody point or curve. Being inside frame there is very little play
Super modelling Andy and what a lovely paint job too they were such enchanting little engines and how much of a tourist magnate now would that be if it had survived intact until the 1950's. The nearest I ever came to riding the line was in the 1970's when I got a lift on the back of a Staffs County Council Transit pick up flat bed from Sparrowlee to Ecton Mill. Watching the scenery flash past in the open air and a breeze in you face must have been the nearest thing to riding on one of those open bogie trolleys. Great experience and never forgotten.
That's a very interesting account... Hmm.. Closest now would be ride yer bike! lol. I'm trying to find the photos of the coach. If not, I will just HAVE to make the second one I have boxed up lol It would have been quite something had it survived. I wonder if I would have been working the CVR if the L&M had still be active ?
Halfords rattle cans Toto... I cant use an airgun to save my life. Mind you, that was when it was fresh, some bits have not stood the test of time.
