If someone is directed or linked to the forum or simply finds something in a search that leads them here, they are stumped from investigating further, as only logged in members get the search function, which is not available to guests. Is this by design or simply a quirk that could be fixed?

I altered my media setting to "members only" because the consensus of opinion from Admins (re my own uploads) is that if you would like to see the pictures then please join the Forum as new members are always welcomed into our community, not only does this make Platform 1 membership stronger and thus more diverse but it eliminates free loaders who just want to soak up ideas without contributing positively for the benefit of all our other members here. For existing members there is an option pallet on the right hand side column of the selected albums pane which allows how you wish others to view your media. I probably didn't describe that too well... sorry.

    Yes,

Ideally we want folks to register. I don't mind them getting a flavour of what they can get in order to give an idea of what we are about. We can review this position going forward though. Nothing to say that we can't change It if the consensus were that It would be more beneficial. We continually review our policies to see that the basis on which they were formed is still relevant. Things change.

No worries ..... noted. We can discuss whether or not we change this for not. It has been deliberately set to do this at the moment so I reiterate, it's not a fault.

We can look at any benefit of a potential change.

    Cheers
