This might be a know issue, but if you not logged in you can't see any threads started by a moderator (member of staff).

This appears to be true for the front page and when selecting 'recent posts'.

No problem if your a member, but anyone viewing the site, potentially applying for membership, can't see all recent topics.

We can investigate that Ed to see if it is an issue. If there are a certain element of content not visible to visitors, I'm not too concerned as the answer is for them to join. I'll have a look just in case though.

    Thanks for bringing it up.

Just thought visitors might miss out on threads that might interest them and entice them to join.

I think it's a double edge sword Ed. If everything is visible ...... why bother joining. Some members never post at all and only want to view. It's a difficult one I think. No right or wrong. :avatar:

If you don't join, you can't ask questions or comment on what's being discussed.

Not my area of interest, but a lot of the O gauge and kitbuilding threads are probably not visible to visitors.

Your call Toto, just thought I'd mention it

    No worries Ed.

We can always review our policies as we evolve and these things can change from time to time if we think necessary. I am always up for these points to be brought up and highlighted again as it does make me think and then ask myself ...... is it due for a change of thought. All very healthy Ed.
