It was more likely like the above Ed as Gary has drawn, otherwise there would be little to no support on the real thing...

    = sagging timbers.

Just because you can’t see it...

I decide the Scalescenes paper looked 'too flat' in this scale, so I covered the walls with Slaters embossed plastikard (7mm wooden planking).

Eventually Toto, I'm currently cutting and painting bits of styrene angle to go on the corners and round the door opening.

Happy new year to you too.

    Thanks Ian.

I think the walls look better than they did with just paper, just got to figure out what to cover the roof with.

I've got some Slaters 7mm corrugated iron sheets, but I don't know if that type of roof would look a bit odd on this size of building.

Not at all... the Leek and Manifold had a large two road shed and coach shed and they were fully corrugated roofs and sides, albeit they were arched.

    Thanks Andy.

I Googled it and found a couple of pictures, see what you mean about being arched.

I wouldn't worry about the shed being to big for corrugated roofing panels. This is my steel yard engineering shed.

Its enormous, 26"x18" (approx) in O scale. Still to be finished though.

    Cheer's, Pete.

a good way to see how a corrugated roof would look is to use this type of cardboard (it's what I use for steps as well) different thickness of card will give you different scales .. it's cheap and easy to do before you buy anything else, just peel the outer layer off.

Already bought it Ian, along with the planking and some SE Finecast brick sheets.

Being a member of the 7mmNGA, I get a discount and free postage on modelling goods.

Worth the annual subscription just for that.
