Having recently fitted my long awaited DJM Class 71's with decoders (one non-sound Lenz Silver), the second being an ESU sound decoder with a bass reflex speaker, I found that I was unable to get the front and rear route indicator boards to light with the ESU. I have the 'umpteen page' ESU user manual printed out, but maybe because things don't always make sense when translated from German (or maybe I'm just 'Thick!') I found it very difficult to work out exactly how to make the two logic outputs actually switch the indicator board lights, ie, which CV's to change. I decided the safest way forward was to email DCKits(Legomanbiffo), and sent this at 18.04 on the 10th of this month, (Saturday), not expecting a reply before the following Monday at the earliest. At 18.52, I received a return email from Legomanbiffo with a full list and order of CV's to change, which took just a few minutes to execute, and completely resolved the problem, so full marks to them both. If anyone else has the earlier ESU version and has the same problem, I'm sure Charlie won't mind my listing them here to save anyone else the need to contact him.

It's important to note that the first 2 CV's MUST be checked/changed first, as failure to do this could have unwanted consequences with other CV settings, and the CV's should be changed in exactly the order listed.
