I receive the newsletter from Ellis Clark ( one of our forum sponsors) and on his latest which is a mini special version, Ellis advises of changes to his website.

The changes are the addition of various navigation tools which help to break down product categories a bit further and assist the viewer to get to where they want a bit more quickly and efficiently. Ellis is aware that there have been a couple of blips in the smooth working of these latest changes and has encouraged his newsletter recipients to feel free to raise any potential issues in order to get them identified and resolved.

I can sympathise there as, as many on the forum will remember, we had similar trial and error issues with the forum software which took constructive cooperation from our members to bottom out.

The Ellis Clark Trains website is worth a visit from everybody as he is expanding what was predominantly an O Gauge concern into all scales / gauges etc so ........ can I ask that if you decide to have a browse over his pages and come across any links or functions that don't appear to be quite functional that you either drop him a " polite / constructive " line advising him of it. Feel free to say where you are from. Alternatively, feel free to pop a thread up here and I will encourage well is to visit the thread and view your comments.

Any participation is appreciated both from Ellis ( as he has requested it on his newsletter ) and from myself as I look to assist our sponsors in any way I can.

    Thanks again chaps

Any feed back on the above. i have been on myself and found a couple of glitches and will be taking notes to post up later. I think its a good thing that we are given the opportunity to comment on these things as we all know how frustrating it can be if you are looking for a particular thing on a suppliers website and a fault prevents you from drilling right down to the fine detail of the product line.

So, here's your chance to assist a pro active retailer who is trying to make the browsing experience on his site a good one. Again, thanks to anyone who takes the time to have a quick look and provide feedback.

    cheers for now

I regularly drop in on Ellis's site to see what he has in the way of kits for sale, I will definitely buy in the future (and I'm not just saying that) but my immediate funds are currently allocated to purchases which I'm committed to. I do like Ellis's site for British O Gauge finescale stuff tho.
