I should say so - Acme were another brand that originated with Jim Harris I believe.

Jims kits were at best challenging. If I were you I'd make it the last one to build 'cos you will need lots of practice.
He used to describe his kits as "aids for scratch builders".
I've got one of his kits in my naughty drawer part built, one of these days I've got to bite the bullet and fetch it out again :avatar:.

Sorry my bad giving you a false expectation:( - I should have edited my quote to read "one for the end of the pile I think"

Sadly as Pete says they don't have the best of reputations. But some good models have been made from them, and oddly the Acme A4 (now with Ace Products) has an excellent reputation. So perhaps they didn't all originate with Jim Harris.

And no starting to roll your own fags doesn't count as experience, brave man a tapered boiler, just try and roll it straight, for me that normally produces a taper :avatar:

Another challenging build there lad, I hope you have an early retirement plan, as you're gonna need plenty of time to build all these kits.

By the way, the bits look good, and a Nickel silver chassis, so there are good points.
