Bachmann Brassworks Class 08 ( unpainted )

    Just as it says above. I received it in the post this morning. The unpainted brass is a bit tarnished but apart from that, it looks fine.

    I'll post up some pictures later. ........ Another for the chipping factory ....... And the paint shop. Just need to decide which livery.

    The quality of the build is impressive, very nice model Tom

    Green without wasp stripes :avatar:, if you want to keep your sanity for the first paint shop outing.

    Now that is a thing of beauty mate :thumbup:, its almost a shame to paint it the finish is so good.

    You`re a whizz kid mate......you`ll be turning them out like little sausages soon at that rate!!!

    Anyway it`s a very nice loco. The detail is excellent. You will have to put a crew in to finish it off though......just a thought!!!

    Not looking forward to it Pete. So easy to make a hash of it. I suppose it'll come back off again if needed.

    Just picked up another of these 08's by Bachmann / Sancheung, again, unpainted from Ellis Clark models. Did they ever consist ? :scratchchin::avatar:

    My second Bachmann Brasswoks class 08 arrived today. Needs a bit of a clean as its tarnished a bit but otherwise looks ok I think. Haven't really thourough lay inspected it yet.

    I'll maybe get another look later tonight.

    a little tarnished but will clean up prior to getting a coat or three of paint.
