:hismiley:I thought I would share a boxfile I am currently modelling called Boxfile sidings. The theme is 1940s/50s with GWR and GW locos and wagons. The boxfile has one Peco Y point with Peco track. There is going to be a warehouse and goods platform area and cobbled sections. I have added some pictures of my progress.

:hismiley:Following on with my boxfile build. I have glued in place the remainder of the brick wall which will be finished off along the tops with rendering. The warehouse front has been fitted with a slate roof now. It all coming together nicely.

Coming on great. It's amazing just how much can be shoe horned into a box file.

That is what it's all about. Everyone that does one also hopefully passes on ideas which encourages others to have a go. There is so many different permutations of what can be done. Even just a slight change of purpose .... No end to it really.

I’m not sure what to use for the top of my platform coffee stirrers to create planks or some sandpaper for a concrete look.:scratchchin:

Gormo done a good thread on his platform surfacing in his Great chesterford junction thread. You'll find it easily in members personal layouts. It is a bit of an epic read but I'll bet you that you will get many great ideas for various things from it. We'll worth a view.
