    Hi Steve,
Excellent video. A very comprehensive coverage of a difficult subject given that it's in N gauge. Great step by step instruction that can be followed by anyone. Very convincing sound as well.
Looking forward to seeing your scenic area progress. Sounds like you have it well planned out.
    A pleasure to view
    Cheers

    Nice video Steve. :thumbs::thumbs::thumbs:

You asked a question on how to sculpture the scenery around the harbour and along the river. He is an artistic rendition of what could be done...

    Hi Gary

Sorry to be so very slow in responding. I missed that you had commented. Thank you so much for taking the time to respond to my question. I like the design and I may use some of it especially on the right hand side of the viaduct. However, in the building and in response to a comment in a later video, the town layout of Weathertop has moved on a bit. The river is to become a canal, and the link to the sea will now be a canal basin for turning narrow boats. I also have to fit in a road to give access to the town. I have an idea how that would be, but the layout to the right of the viaduct had been bugging me - until now! Steve

Time for the latest update on the layout

Quite a bit to talk about not least hunting down and unexpected short circuit, which led to quite a few changes

Looking good Steve, but you need some gravestones etc to fill the churchyard a bit! :):)

Hi Steve, What an interesting layout you have there, I like the church scene a lot... maybe a lych gate along with a few graves and pathways? Very nice all the same and I'm looking forward to seeing it develop. The static grass looks great as well.cheers for now York Paul

Thanks Paul. The main pathway is there but in the gloom it couldn't be seen very well. Gravestone are the next thing and you may have seen from reply to Ron.

Time for another update after a very productive month of work

I had a lot to talk about and this made the video rather long. I am beginning to wonder if I might need to do more shorter videos if I keep this work rate up! I ask for views in the video and would welcome thoughts of others in the forum. For those who want to skip bits I have put key section running times in the description section

Time for the March Update on Elvenhome, my N Gauge model railway. In addition to tying some wiring to help with fitting new lighting, I deal with a church plunged in to darkness and a teaser for the next two videos. Hope you enjoy

very enjoyable video and a great insight into what you are up to. the church lighting works a treat. All the various facilities on your platforms fall into place rather well too.
great to view and looking forward to the next instalment.

    Hi Steve,

Paul and I are travelling down to York for their exhibition on Saturday the 24th March. He is picking me up at around 6.00am in Edinburgh if you would like to come down with us. if its of interest, please let me know and I will arrange times and a meeting place with you. There will be a few other members from around the country attending and it would be a excellent opportunity to get to meet a few.

    cheers

    Hi Toto

Thank you very much for the offer which I would have accepted but I am taking my wife that day to a glass blowing course, a long awaited birthday present. It would be good to meet up with others though. I am likely to be at the Perth Exhibition, and I already have my two day ticket for Warley, so perhaps we can do so at either event? Thanks again for the offer.

    Regards

    Steve

No worries Steve. Paul and I were talking about Perth so that could be a goer. I am usually on holiday when the Perth show takes place but I am away a week earlier this year so the dates will fall into place.

    I'll look forward to that.

    Cheers

    Toto
