Base layers of green completed, the static grasses will be built up with longer strands of more muted tones, Straw and light greens. Just awaiting a delivery from Mininatur now plus flowering strips from eBay. Attached files

Hi Steve, How big is it, the photos make it look small but then they make the loco/coach look small too and knowing that it's 7mm makes me think that it's much bigger than it looks.
Hi Rob It's 6 foot X 2 foot, I chose this size as it should fit in to an average sized estate car or small van, Once complete I'll probably sell it on
The card backing has been glued in place, a laser cut fascia will go on but for now I can finish adding the plaster on the last exposed bits of polystyrene, This tunnel Mouth is based on the one at Shell Cove a favourite spot for the GWR publicity department. Attached files
Current progress on the Sea Wall diorama, Most of the static grass is complete & the track is glued down. Lots more scenics to add yet and the first items from Polak are on order. Time to move the layout out of the kitchen and into the Railway room then it's on with ballasting. Attached files
