I have had super glue on fingers in the past and have been able to remove it by wiping with Acetone:cheers:RALPH

Thanks gents, much appreciated. I wonder, does it come off tablecloths? If not, I may need to very quickly emigrate before 'er indoors spots my minor oversight...:(

Thanks Chris, good to know - I just need to find some. Does it have a commercial name?

Luckily the weather today is pleasantly warm with not much breeze, so ideal for spraying outside :)

Flushed with the success of that, I chanced my arm and did the same to the new pond bridge which I made at the weekend:

And just to prove there was a pond somewhere under all that greenery, I did a bit of clearance:

All in all, a reasonably good day!

Thanks Chris, I see that Amazon sell an equivalent for this stuff - next time I am putting an order in on there I'll sneak some into the basket :)

Final bit of progress for the day - the painted bridge deck is temporarily in place with the track reinstated:

I still need to add something to prevent accidental diving sessions, but that will have to wait a few days.

Hi folks, no progress as such over this weekend, however this morning I reinstated the track enough to get a cab-eye view video of a test run across all of the recently replaced bridges. Enjoy, if only for the warm summery weather!

Thanks all for your comments. Yesterday afternoon I managed to entertain my grandchildren for fully 3 minutes by the simple expedient of clearing the entire line of obstructions and yet more undergrowth, and running a goods train on a continuous circuit.

Here then, is the full 'dime tour', courtesy of a guard's eye view:

That happened to me Clive … just don't tug at the tablecloth because it can tear a hole in it 'and' leave a glaring piece of it stuck to the table .. kinda hard to hide from the domestic goddess .. how do I know .. well …. ps great progress and a rarity here ..trains running
