Can anyone that is still intending to submit an entry for this competition please list their name here. I am aware that there were a few but don't know who is still in and who has backed out. It's just so I have an idea of how many I should be expecting. The quicker the better please gentlemen as I will be contacting Pat from Townstreet very soon to organise the judging. Well ....... The party is over. Our very worthwhile winner is none other than our Ian tinto. An amazing entry that has went totally unchallenged. From the outset his plonk had the hallmark of something special and was always going to be in the running. The standard is exceptional with all the detail inspiring some major copyworthness ( is there such a word ) The coal drop is absolutely spit on and the overall theme pulled very nicely together with Ian's terrific use of colour and individual cameos. The challenge itself did demand a major undertaking which is difficult to commit to and the competition ( although initially fierce ) had understandably withdrawn due to time constraints and other commitments taking over. A big thanks for the initial involvement goes out to the others. I will be in touch with Ian shortly on how to collect / spend his £ 100.00 prize pot with Townstreet models. All that's left for me to say is ........ Well done Sir ......... a submission to be proud of and thanks very much for all your efforts and entertainment along the way . First class. Toto
Thanks your royal flounderless (unseen bow ... protocol sorted) I myself was inspired by the inspirations already inspiring this inspirational forum ... and tinto! ... I also realise that even my goat would have been hard pushed to complete the build with the commitments the other competitors were faced with.
