    Just announced today the intention to produce the erstwhile GWR 57xx pannier tank for around £225

    The 57xx class popped up throughout the railways in the latter days of steam. Some sold off to the NCB and a whole load did banking duties on the Lickey, so finding an excuse to not run one will be hard Paul

    If it had been a 16xx then all future brownie points would have to be allocated to the pannier fund, as a 1646 & 1649 were deployed to the Dornoch branch after the ex HR passenger tank failed.

    My 57xx turned up and only had a quick run up and down on a test track but seems O k. 20180328_120445.jpg
