Bought these ages ago but did not post them up. Anyway, I know have two 21 pin decoders ( Hattons own ) and they are ready for fitting. I'll be fitting them pissinly tonight so I'll get some pictures up of the decoder fitting. Cheers Toto
Here we are in late crest ....... and here is the decoder. one of Hattons own 21 pin versions ..... four screws to the outside corners takes the chassis out ........ to reveal the factory fitted DC chip. So ......its out with the old ....... and in with the new. very easy to fit. just the pesky screws are so small ....... its the ones to the outside, ie nearest the middle of the picture. Anyway its done now and took about three minutes. then it was on to this version in early crest ........ and the same again ....... the old ...... and the new. So there we have it. two decoders fitted in minutes really. Just need to get them on a programme track ( my rolling road ) and get their running numbers programmed in. the last four numbers of the loco number in my case. cheers for now. toto
