    :gday: Folks,

Another week, another Gormo`s Shed.....Number 47 and heading towards the fifty mark....three to go and coming in just under Christmas. Might have to do something special for number 50..????:scratchchin:

Well back to business and this weeks Shed.

The other day I decided to have a go at a post and wire fence for my layout. No new innovative method for me, just another run of a method that`s been around for yonks I guess.????

There must be stacks of you who have done this before but I feel it`s worth putting it out there again for the newbies and the youngsters coming through the hobby who are just finding their way.

This is the area I fenced. I had to have something to keep the rabbits out !!!

And this is how they scrub up. It`s the painting and the weathering that makes a difference and fools the willing eye into believing it`s a fence.

I do like the distressed / weathered and random look of the fence. It seems to make it sit more naturally in it`s surrounds to me.

Anyway enough of the pretty pictures and we`ll get into the video and explain how to do it.

I'm guessing that you know that I'm quite fond of the odd post & wire fence. Having one on every layout is a must ! ;)

    Cheers, Gary.

    Thanks Guys,

Yes Ron......the drill bit was 0.75mm. The holes look large compared to the wire on the video, however in reality, trying to find them with the end of the wire in a pair of tweezers is not easy for my old eyes.

Toto.....it is not horse poop, but it can be if you want it to be. I was considering putting sheep pellets in the field. I guess Ian would prefer goat pellets, everyone has their favourite flavour I guess.????...mine is sheep.!!!!

Gary.....you`re the maestro when it comes to fences and I guess I`ve subconsciously nicked your ideas when I`ve built mine. But hey???......they say imitation is the greatest form of flattery. Oh and thanks for letting Ron know the drill size. I`m still a busy boy at the moment, so I`m on and off here in a flash most times lately........sorry `bout that lads........such is life.
