    G`day Folks,

Well I`ve returned from holidays and I`m trying to get back into the saddle with most things, so I`ve presented you with a relatively small Gormo`s Shed this week.

Before we left London I went down to West Ealing station, which was literally about 2 mins walk from our hotel, and did some filming from platform 3.

Platform 3 stands right beside the the main through line to the west, so it provides a good opportunity to film Intercities coming through at speed.

So enjoy this little film and I`ll see you next week.

Gee Gormo, you cracked out another Gormo's Shed in no time at all after arriving home. Great video of some very fast trains.:thumbs::thumbs:

Great video Gormo, I lived just up that line at West Drayton (station after Hayes & Harlington as a kid for a while!)
I like the new GWR livery, not as colourful as some but a very smart!
    Cheers
    Ron

Good video Gormo. I must admit the GWR livery is very smart. Good to see some freight as well.
Welcome back. I think a well deserved rest is in order to let you bed back into home life again.
    Take it easy.

    G`day Folks,

Cameron....the new era GWR has crossed my mind I must admit, however I`m not quite sure yet.???

Gary....thanks mate....it`s good to be back....London was absolutely stinking hot at the end!!!!....Yes we`ll have to work out a get together soon and I can give you some tips on travel to Scotland. I`ll give you a ring one night through the week.

Ron I think the new GWR livery is a bit on the bland side myself, I would rather the old one but there you are.....can`t have it all my own way. The relatives live in Highview Road, Ealing.....not far from where you lived, so I am familiar with the area to a limited extent.

Ed....not much to show on the ECML.....the speed is a bit high for pics and the video would have a sameness about it wherever you were on the run so I didn`t bother really. I just enjoyed the experience and I must say it was a very nice, comfortable trip and on time too.....a great way to travel.!!!

Toto....thanks mate!!!....my head is almost back in tune with my body. I was stuffed when we got back because I barely slept in about 37 hours. Last night I slept for 14 hours....whoooee!!!!....one more night and I`ll be right..

Thanks Paul....the video was deliberately shot to make it easy for me to put up a quick one when we got home....seems to have worked out OK.??:scratchchin: I do love the sound of those Intercities approaching the station. It`s not so obvious on the video, but it`s like a low flying jet coming at you from a distance and it rockets past you in no time at all........scary too!!!....but cool!!!!

PS Toto.....the bottle of whisky had to be drunk before we left UK.We were close to our weight allowance and something had to go. I must admit though, that it took cousin John and myself two nights to knock it over, we don`t drink much you see. I was a bit wobbly the first night and he was a bit wobbly the second night:avatar::avatar:....it was a nice drop indeed...thanks:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:
