the points motors will be hand of god this layout is a challenge to build a fully working layout for less than £35 this includes controler and rolling stock the only items that don't count in the price are paint and glue and i have to have it finished for christmas or pay money to charty
That is looking great, especially if it's total value is only £35.00 ! The track plan is very reminiscent of the Timesaver design. Should be a lot of fun to operate. Cheers, Gary.
Excellent start Captain Pugwash, great to seen another foam board layout being built and on a tight budget using the "KISS" principles as well, this should give lots of new comers to the hobby and the forum some great ideas. Keep posting up progress reports with lots of pictures please.Kim
Too get colour and texture of mortar on the chimney i used dust from thermalite block I spread clear pva glue covered with the dust let dry for a week then sealing with cheap hairspray Attached files
