Coming soon to a forum near you ......... Its getting closer ..... the official sounder chipping surgery of my class 37. I looked out the Loksound decoder and speaker ...... ohhhhhh is it a brute. My Class 35 is next followed by this. In fact, I should have put a couple of piccies up of the Frankensteins monster of a decoder. .... maybe later. cheers toto
Forgot to say, this install will be my first solder installation. No plug and play for this one. I'll need to attack this with a plan. Pre tinning wires and terminals to keep the soldering iron contact time with the terminals as brief as possible in case I damage the chip. If anyone has an example ( or photos ) of their install of anything similar, now would be a good time to post it up. Cheers Toto
