Wow! spot on Gary, especially the first photo, I know it was still wet in places but the eye is fooled to see perspective on a flat surface, well done mate . Pete.
Great job Gary. I can see other aussie modelers commissioning hand painted backscenes from such a talented artist!
Spent some time on the scenery today and a lot more to do... Yep, the PVA is still wet ! I'm still waiting on a few items from the US, such as Hanes buffer stops, cross bucks, small trolley shed, roof top detail for the factory and some crew for the locos. I was hoping that they would arrive before the Easter break, but not to be... Cheers, Gary.
...and the glue should be dry by then ! What you see there is a only about 30-35cm of the layout... Cheers, Gary.
Looking really good Jack/Gary, another great little layout to be proud of, I like the way that small road disappears behind the trees. Jim
Thanks Jim. I took the disappearing road concept from Chris Nevard's 'Polbrook' layout. I don't like roads that just end at the backscene, they just don't look right. Cheers, Gary.
How good is it to see my boys and for them, especially Jack to see how far his layout has come along... Both Jack and Jody will be helping out at the Exhibition in June. Can't wait !! Cheers, Gary.
Great to see the boys home with their Dad They look really happy I bet jack was amazed at how far you had progressed Gary only a shame he couldn't be there to help Also it Great that both boys will be at the show Congrats on POTW as well Gary
