I have for sale a portrayal of a van with a leaky roof that has been sheeted up with a patched and worn tarpaulin.

It's for sale and will be available for collection at Telford but not until close of play on the Saturday. This is because I intend to enter it in the modelling competition so if it matters it will also come with a certificate of entry into the competition. Fingers crossed it may get placed too which would be a bonus for both myself and the prospective purchaser.

As ever it's all my own work and has small details like brass eyelets in the tarp.

At the risk of sound a little inflated I don't think that the photos do it justice but it can be seen at Telford in the flesh.

£80.00 plus Postage should anyone want it sent anywhere after Telford.

Let's hope the judges think so:thumbup: There is also a category voted for by the public on the day but I doubt it will do anything in that.:(

I am pleased to report that much to my surprise the van took third place in the Rolling Stock section of the Modelling competition so I have a nice glass trophy and a certificate of entry which I will include with the sale. I say "much to my surprise" not because I was doubting the quality of the model (modest I am not:cool:) but because having slipped away for a few minutes I had looked over the all the entries and I was convinced that I wouldn't get a look in.

So much so that I had to be dragged away from talking to a visitor on my demo to go and be presented with my trophy.

Having been presented with the trophy for the van I was even more surprised that I had also taken second prize for another of my entries- more on that when I get home.
