Another of Iain's books. Never noticed that it was in 4 mm scale but I dare say the theory will apply to 7 mm as well. Black and white illustrations, covers fundamentals, assessing a chassis kit, corrections and cures, basic chassis construction, bogies and pony trucks, compensation, wheeling up and quartering, cylinders and valve gear, motors, transmissions, pickups, testing and trouble shooting. Lots of illustrated sketches and pictures. Quite an in depth read which will take a bit of swallowing but looks like another good book / point of reference. I'll post up a picture of the front cover later. A Wild Swan Publication. Cheers Toto
I have accidentally bought two copies of this book. If anyone would like a copy free of charge, yell out ........ First come first served. Cheers Toto

Funnily enough, I bid for (and lost!) a copy on Ebay a few days ago. Ah well, there'll always be another along soon! Keith.

I'm trying to increase my book stock, as photographs in them are very useful from a loco detailing point of view, so have bought several from secondhand book dealers recently. You can't have too much information when it comes to modelling and detailing long extinct locomotives. Keith.
