I thought I'd share some of my weathered models and other little weathering projects that have been happening around the layout. These are a few of the items I use to weather my models. If anyone would like to know how I go about using these products for weathering, just ask me ! You can see Testors Clear Lacquer, Isopropyl Alcohol, Black wash, Humbrol paints, a selection of Carrs powders, and a few brushes, The red handle brush in the foreground is my preferred choice ! So, a few models, these first few I had done today. ^ 16T Mineral Wagons ^ A 2+2 Planked vent van and a Fruit van. Below, two more Fruit vans. The next lot of wagons were done some time ago and I will add taht some of you here have seen these before, but... ^ The Hornby 'Railroad' tankers. ^ LMS Egg Van ^ GWR Fruit D van. ^ Another Fruit van. ^ SR 5 plank open wagon. A few locos I done some time ago... ^ A Bachmann Class 08. ^ Bachmann Jinty. This loco started its life as a S&DJR blue liveried loco. ^ Hormby Terrier, started life as 'Portishead' in GWR livery. ^ Rusting pipes and mesh and below, some rusting old engineering waste Well, that's a few for now, no doubt there'll be more. Cheers, Gary.
