I decided to kit bash and detail a couple of cranes for my layout to add a little bit of something different on it .I also have built a couple of support vehicles for the cranes out of old wagons I have built for other uses . here are a couple of pics for your perusal. The large yellow crane is a kit bash of the old dapol kit and the smaller Crane is a job done using the old Hornby crane as a base . the wagon crane is something I put together to use a coal loader in the yard .
Nice modelling. It’s great to see a variety of bits and pieces from other kits being put to good use.
Nice modelling. I like the use of the extra detailing items in the wagons such as the extra hook and chains and barrels. The weathering on the individual wagons is very nice. Cheers, Gary.
