As I receive emails from various suppliers, one form Rails of Sheffield caught my eye. They have devised their own take on product reviews. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BjUafTJKEFw&feature=youtu.be&utm_source=Mailing+List&utm_campaign=12fc66389b-EMAIL_CAMPAIGN_2017_02_23&utm_medium=email&utm_term=0_74d01bc2ed-12fc66389b-5337553 Cheers, Gary.
Not come across "Rails TV" before Gary, though I've found them to give excellent customer service, and at about 15 miles away, they are my nearest 'large' dealer, often with as good or better prices than Hattons, Kernow etc. With the free UK postage offer, they seem to be taking on "Trackshack" too, all we need now is a few 'Special Edition Commission' models that others don't do to follow in the footsteps of the Hattons and Kernow 'Special Editions'! Keith.
Had a look at the new un-rebuilt Merchant Navy Class locos... The price certainly grabbed my attention ! OUCH ! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8q5FnX8zi9s Cheers, Gary.
Very nice, but too early for my era Gary. In my opinion, one of the best looking loco's ever built. Did a trip from Southall to Canterbury, returning via the South Coast 3 years ago behind "Tangmere", and boy was the driver "Giving it some welly!" That (and an A4's siren whistle) still makes the hairs on the back of my neck (about the only place I still have head hair nowadays!) stand up. Keith.
