My first MK1 is under construction!
Not by me I hasten to add! It's being built from a Easy build kit and will ride on Commonwealth bogies.

nother two buildings under construction currently sat in there respective homes, still lots to do yet. The wall behind the brick building will eventually be taken down once the extension is completed and the building can be moved back to a safer distance

    Hi Gary
Sorry for the delay in replying. A basic grey primer will suffice then I use a car based gloss white spray paint to seal the MDF. brick colour is BR bauxite from Rail match. Then I use 3 different shades of humbrol paint to pick out the individual bricks. Then an acrylic cream, grey or white for the mortar courses.
Pop over to my work bench thread for a blow by blow with pictures

Yes it's all there, the etches are in the bottom. They also include multiple options within the kit like the tall and short chimney for instance

That's an impressive number of bits - Toto, just think of all the fun you could have looking for them after Lulu helps you unpack them.

So whens this one scheduled to hit the workshops Steve ?
