Please ....... Don't. :avatar: If new loco's were a measure of enthusiasm ...... I'd have it by the bucket load ........ Well ....... If kits count. You are right though ....... It's a stunner and nice to see as a work in progress.

    Fantastic stuff Steve.

Because they ran out of red . I suspect it's a resin boiler ..... There again ..... I'm prepared to be educated.

Your right it’s a resin boiler, no boiler to roll a lot of the detail is cast in and there’s a nice big weight in it

Thought as much. It does not detract from the amazing finish of the loco. A sight to behold...... :faint:

Funnily enough Steve I was only looking last night on another website which was asking for expressions of interest for the same loco was on of their future kits list. This is a lovely loco and is really tempting me as the quality looks outstanding however I've really set my sights on two other kits for this year, one of which I'm committed to. Let me think a bit more... its hugely tempting and I'm not particularly a Western man but I do like "something different" as they say in Yorkshire.:scratchchin:

MOK was going to do the 15xx as I was working with them to get the sufficient numbers together. Unfortunately with Warrens so far in advance it makes sense to cut their losses now as it will always be a limited market loco.
I’ve used lots of Warrens castings though and they are always superb.
As for the reporting numbers I’ve got quite a few made up but A08 will be a good one as that was a Swindon turn to Padd and very often brought Ex Works locos up to Ranelagh Bridge and until she’s weathered that’s will be just right.

I guessed as much with MOK but had no idea your involvement, I'm keeping an eye on this kit with a view to ordering one since it is such a limited market issue and anyway since everyone here is building up a stash for themselves then I might as well do the same. I'll keep in touch with you Steve and look out for the confirmed price, if I can get 10% off before the cut off date that will be even better.
