Chris also "cheats" by combining several shots with diferent focus points to give such a large depth of field. Works beautifully tho' Paul
The next locomotive kit has arrived for Ranelagh Bridge, the 97xx panniers were synonymous with west London. I'm gathering together some nice replacement castings to boost the appearance of this kit. Once I've got the wheels and motor it will go to North Wales for building. Hopefully be ready for collection at Telford Attached files
The coach looks great. If you ever want to get rid of it, or any of your 7mm rollingstock, I know where you can send it...! Cheers, Gary.
Only just starting Gary!! I did have a nice set of wagons and I sold them thinking I wouldn't need them, I regret that now so it's time to start building the numbers back up.
Recently I came across a small online business which sold 2nd hand 7mm wagons, carriages and brakevans. They had some really great bargains, ie, Parkside Dundas 12-ton Covered Box Van, assembled and painted for £20.00. They had quite a few wagons and I had been in touch with them regarding postage costs to Australia. The postagev for three wagons to Oz was going to be £25.00 and I was going to purchase 3 models, but unfortunately when I went to order the models, their website address wouldn't link, dispalying 'The webpage cannot be found'. This is them : www.wagonsandcarriage.co.uk Have you heard of this online retailer ?? Cheers, Gary. ps. Apologies for straying off the thread.
Bristol O gauge show yesterday & a great show it was. I picked up some footplate crew from Modelu, these are fantastic and I highly recommend them for all scales. I hope at some point to get my self scanned at some point so I can be on the footplate of a few of my own engines! http://www.modelu3d.co.uk Attached files
Hi Gary This is their new web site thought Id post it here so others into 'O' can take a look http://www.wagonandcarriage.co.uk ( It appears they had technical issues with the old site and have a new web address. . . looks like they dropped the 's' from wagons ? ) Cheers Matt
Here's the next batch of castings to dress up the Scorpio 97xx condensing pannier tank. A few more from Hobby horse to come. Attached files
I love these shows, you can find just about every thing you need in O scale to finish and detail projects, unfortunately it was just a bit to far from me. I saw the 3d printed figures at Telford O gauge show last year, when I can afford it I fancy driving my own shunter on Wheeldon Mill . Pete.
Second buffer stop installed today from a Ragstone kit. This one has the timber stop. I need another two for the lines behind Attached files
Lovely stuff Steve, good to see what Ranelagh Bridge looked like. I've read about loco going there for turning, coaling, etc between trains often enough. cheers Marty
