Those buffers look great Steve.......wonder how I`d go trying to make one in OO??? http://www.click Gormo
Making a start on some of the flats, these ones are right along the back corner & are very low relief. Attached files
Toto, I hope youre following this as you have some low relief buildings to make for Viccy Rd. I'm sitting comfortably, pencil at the ready, bring it on Steve.
I started this Jltrt shock van some time ago but finally bought some wheels to complete it. Im waiting for Steve at Railtec transfers to do some suitable decals so I can finish it off. I need some parcels stick for this project. Attached files
Tenements now in place after cladding with slaters brick, painting, weathering and all guttering etc added. There's more industrial buildings to go in front of these that's why the lower half isn't fully detailed. Once the others are in place you won't be able to see the lower half Attached files
Mmmmm model railway porn, locos in the buff. Looking very good .... Toto, you can do it just start small, an etched brass wagon kit or something similar. Avoid a coach kit unless its flat sided or the tumbleholme is already formed. Paul
A little more track work today, I'm still to tackle a brass kit, I'm happy to build plastic / resin kits and I hope to tackle a JLTRT diesel kit at some point. Attached files
It does have compensation, I'm not 100% sure what type but it's designed in to the kit. This is being built for me. I still haven't taken the plunge into etch kits!
Its coming along nicely Steve, from what I have seen of your other work I don,t believe you would have too much trouble with etched brass, practice on some waste first, then a simple wagon, Connoisseur wagon kits are really well designed with excellent instructions, next thing you will be building Kings and Castles . Cheers, Pete.
Thanks guys. I will one day I'm sure I hope to tackle a Jltrt diesel kit in the not to distant future.
