I some how made the time this afternoon to get the lights in
As had to get the back scene in first and get all that sorted before the light panels could be made to fit
Curtain is the only thing left and I’m using the one off Moonan Flats so it’s only needs the hooks fitting

At least trains run that’s all that matters really

The layout just fits in the lounge room all set up until now I’ve only been able to join sections test then move to the next one but it all worked first go

 

Last photos before the layout is packed for the show tomorrow a few more little scenic items added and the Tourist have moved in for the season

We had a Great weekend and the layout got lots of nice comments.

The new Backscene was a real hit with comments from that looks so real to how did you paint that so life like and even one guy who said I’ve been there and seen those mountains and have a photo just like that didn’t get much better than that

Even had a new loco for the layout, that arrived Friday delivered to the venue thanks to Gary for being there and taking deliver whilst we were stuck in the traffic or should that be car park on the way there.
There were plenty of shiny’s available to be had at the show as well another post for those and everyone else can add theirs as well
