I wasn't really sure where to put this but thought here was best because it was done with the Silhouette cutter.

While cutting some battery box support straps for the Kirk Twins I decided to have a dabble with some lettering. Each letter is 8mm high and is cut from 10 thou styrene

A minor set back this week. I spent most of last weekend making a new display stand for use at Donny show. The plan was to fit home made track. I had the rail to hand but sadly turning the house upside down hasn't revealed the safe place where I put the sleepers and chairs after painting/staining them. Grrr!!:headbang:

Are you all right for sleepers and chairs? I have C&L ones if you are desperate but they are not painted.

The chairs and Sleepers turned up, I had taken them up north without realising it. Track should be laid on the display stand in time for it's next outing at the end of the month.

I'm sure the trackwork will be fine, I'm looking forward to saying :hismiley: and having a chat. To be honest its a fairly easy journey for me, just round the York by-pass and head on up the A19.

Last night I made a start on the rails for the display stand. I found that I have no double sided tape so the sleepers are just placed for the minute until Amazon do their thing

I managed to thread enough chairs to get half of it ready for assembly and I hope to finish the rest tonight.

There is a third top shelf just out of sight.

I don't but next time I have the cutter running I will try to remember to cut some out for you. How tall do you need them?

Another thing SSSSShhhhhhhh, I'd keep it all quiet though because when I was at his nibs's house today I saw a sketch lying on his desk. ....... You know how in the hollywood hills they have the big HOLLYWOOD letters, well ........ his nibs ........ the sketch superimposed onto a picture of his latest mountain terrain build .......... CALEYWOOD ....... no kidding. I know he'll say I'm fibbing ..... but I aint. As I said ....... mums the word.

    :whatever:

This thread has been quiet for a while but I have been doing bits and pieces of drawing and one of the items which I have kept returning to and finally made the first test cuts are for a GWR Inspection Saloon.

Many thanks are due to Mike Cole (@Ressaldar ) for the photos that he kindly printed off for me.

Both the photos are of the same pieces because I couldn't work out which photo was the better one (neither are great....).

I have also cut a load of station valencing but I haven't taken any photos of that yet but here is a screen shot of the art work
