I'll be altering Sheringbourne from an end to end to a single track roundy-roundy layout.

Starting at the Holt station end (which has now gone!), across the front of the shed, a bridge of sorts across the doorway then removing the level-crossing at the station end join up under a bridge with original tracks through the station. (In theory!!)

Final image shows the shed front where I'll build a narrow single track board towards the door.

    More to follow

The space to the ends of the sidings is too short for a cliff or retaining wall or embankment for a tunnel, just put a cliff face or retaining wall on the far side of the curve.

P.S. You have to paint a mural on the garden fence as your plank back scene!:avatar:

Personally, I would chop a few chunks out of the plank and replace with a girder bridge or two (but then I am bridge mad)

As for scenery on this section, that all depends if the fiddle yard tracks will be part of the scenic section... :scratchchin:

Perhaps you could remove the inner most siding and turn the three roads into an inglenook. This could then be sceniced as a coal depot or general freight staging yard. Having the forth siding removed allows more scenery in between the mainline and the sidings. This could include Scalescenes small coal office kitbashed as a yard foreman's office, add some fencing (post & wire) along the mainline a few other items like flood lights etc.

As for the corner, some corrugated iron along the mainline and a scrap yard could be modelled in there.

    Cheers, Gary.
