    The Caldicot Road bridge for Severn Tunnel West taking shape. Primed sealed then brown base coat, various shades of brown, Black washes then grey washes. Just waiting on some dullcote to flatten it and seal it then out with some powders.

    Looks like the Greens have sprouted
    Nice modelling Steve
    The Tunnel portal has come up nice as well

    What's the plan for exhibitions the 2 layouts end to end and fiddle yards at each end, or continuous Running in a big loop with corners at each end joining East and West modules ??

    Another permanent way hut for the welsh side! This one will be right by the tunnel mouth hence the extra dirt.
    I'm not sure on the exhibition logistics yet, but both layout will be bolted together for one continuous run

    I've just done a marathon read of all the postings on your thread here, this is top notch stuff and full of inspiration to get stuck in for a newbie like me. it really is brilliant model making and the attention to detail is second to none.     I'm guessing this Brake coach is one with the different painted sides, I like the idea of the reversible carriages twice the value

    Popped over to Severn Tunnel East Box this morning and just caught a partially fitted goods heading up towards Pilning, the high bar looks fresh out of the wagon works
