    Recently arrived at my place, a four car set of Series 103 EMU cars made by Tenshodo. I already had a set of the high cab window 103s, but I really wanted a low cab set as well. Tonight was the first time they’ve been for a run on the club layout. As you’d expect they run flawlessly, and look good as well. If the room had been a bit darker you’d see that the cars have interior lighting that replicates the look of fluorescent lights. Now that I know they run okay it’s time to add all the details and numbers, followed by a bit of light weathering.

    Cheers,

    Mark.

    Very nice train. :thumbs::thumbs::thumbs:

    Tenshodo is a name I haven't heard for a while. There old 'Spud' motors were fantastic.

    Cheers, Gary.

    Yes, Gary. I remember the name as well. The old Tenshodo brass steam sold through Berg's I think, and Hobbyco in George St Sydney.
    I used to drool over those beautiful unpainted brass models with their fine detail. Have never owned one though.
