    Ok,

    Just to kick off the 2017 competition season we will kick off with a nice easy competition

    All you have to do is take any wagon type in any scale and do a weathering job on it.

    Multiple entries can be submitted, but each entry must have its own thread within the competition.

    Each thread must have a series of photographs depicting it's progress from untouched to completed and at different stages of the process. Narratives must be included to describe the methods and materials employed at the various stages.

    It must be the entrants own efforts and the judging criteria will be based on both the finished result and the quality and depth of the accompanying progress narratives.

    To start a thread, click in the new topic button at the top of this thread and clearly state your entry.

    You have until the 30th of April 2027 to submit as many entries as you like.

    Now, the important part ....... The prize.

    I have one NCE Powercab ( on order from the states ) to award the winner. No moderators can enter on this occasion as they will be used as judges. I'll pick my victims nearer the time.

    So any member can apply including any new member who joins between now and the closing date.

    Ok, we all know Toto was meaning to write 30th April 2017 ! So folks, get your submissions in !

    Shame it's not 2027, I might actually have got around to doing my rake of 16 tonners or the TTAs which are still in there box, by then :oops:

    So each wagon needs its own thread? Do they have to finished by April 30th or just have the thread started by that date?

    Hi Intercity72,

    They need to be finished by the 30th April. Plenty of time. The threads must be well documented. From choosing you wagon, through the various stages that you take to get to the finished submission.

    You can use any materials you like.

    As long as there is a progress account of some means showing images of the process as it happens ........ It's in.

    The NCE Powercab arrived from the states today ........... It's all to play for so good luck everyone.

    Only a few hours left to enter your submission. It is 12:45am in Oz and 3:45pm in the UK, which leaves you just over 8 hours to get your entry in... We will end the entries tonight at 11.59 pm BST.
