Hi Toto. Have been building an OO gauge layout for a number of years in a room 23 ft x 9 ft. My partner encouraged me to get back into railway modelling after many years away from it. My profile picture is off the my layout room. Here are a few photo's to get started. I have other photo's as well which I will put up when I get a chance. My layout run in DCC using an NCE Power Pro 5amp wireless system. Tony.
Hi Tony, welcome to the forum. Wow what a great introduction to your layout, it looks brilliant. Keep the photos coming mate!! Pete.
Tony To Platform1 great to read you intro and see the photos of your layout great concept, when I eventually get a train Shed I have plans drawn up for a similar concept with the main station as a Peninsula with a run around the room with a Y junction so trains can go out and back. looking forward to a topic on the build so far. link to member layouts just click the post topic button and it will open a page read for you to create http://platform1mrc.com/p1mrc/index.php?forums/members-personal-layouts/ Again to Platform1
G'day Amdaley, Welcome aboard from a cool, windy but sunny Sydney. Loads of great topics, hints, tips and great layouts for you to cast your eyes over. Looking forward to reading about your own model railway adventures. Enjoy the banter and camaraderie of P1MRC. Cheers, Gary.
Hi Tony, and welcome to the forum. I seem to recall one or two communications with you several years back on YMRC, so great to hear from you again. Keith.
Hi, Fantastic layout. It has the wow factor. ...... and more. Really fantastic dedicated area you have there. A few jealous onlookers I'd think. Yes, there are a few YMRC members on here. We just happened and folks have came over in their own time. There is always room for another forum. Folks will decide where they want to call home themselves. We try to involve everyone and encourage our members to help shape the forum with their ideas and comments so if there is anything that you'd like to see happen....,.,,, shout out and we'll do our best to accommodate. Great to hear from you and I look forward to following your journey and seeing more of your fantastic layout ( you lucky beggar ). Cheers Toto
How do you find the NCE copes with such a large layout..? I'd imagine you'd be on the threshold of having to add a 5 amp booster.
