and a warm from a cold and wet Dundee - what's new Glad you decided to join us here at platform1mrc, we're a friendly bunch who love to blether about model railways, and have even been known to occasionally do a spot of modelling as well. Settle in and when you are ready please introduce yourself to the forum, we'd love to hear about yourself and your modelling adventures. Once again welcome to the forum Paul
Hi and thank you both for your welcome. I was previously registered as jimhy but have not been able to login. After I received the newsletter last night I tried to login, tried to get new password and tried to create a new account but never received the emails (optusnet.com.au). So I tried the Contact Us button down the bottom but that just re-opens the main page. I have now created a new account and used my yahoo email account and as you can see everything is now alright. I tried to access on three computers all with the same result, so, I don't know whether it is Optus or some other problem, but thought I had better let you know. Regards, Jim.
Hi Jim, apologies for the difficulty getting in. we've been ironing out a few issues which we have inherited with our recent migration. If you would prefer to revert back to your old user name, I can issue you a new temporary password to your email account and on you posting up for the first time, I can delete this new account. Or ...... you can keep this new user name and I'll delete the old one ....... the choice is yours. thanks for persevering with us. your efforts and membership are appreciated. cheers toto
Hi toto, Thanks for your response, just delete the old one if you could and I will continue with the new one. Many thanks, Jim.
Hi Jim, you aren't the only one having problems mate. But slowly and surely the lads are ironing out the bumps. Great to have you back on board . Cheer's, Pete.
