    :hismiley: and :welcome: Potter.

Great to have you on board with us. For the benefit of others, Potter is an Engineer working on the same Project as myself. He has a history in modelling in N gauge. I'll leave him to spill the beans on what he has been up to and what he's looking to do in the future.

    Again, welcome aboard.

    Cheers

    Toto

Cheers Toto and hello to everyone.
I've been working with N gauge on and off for 30 years now (when life doesn't get in the way) but I'm always learning. Every day is a school day. Looking forward to speaking to you all.

Like the avatars..... what's that you are riding ? We have a few bike nuts, petrol heads and vintage mechanical stuff folks on here. You'll work out who they are as you go.

Great to gave you with us.

    Cheers

It's my Yamaha XJR 400. I also have an XJR 1200. The 400 is the winter hack.

If I remember .... many moons ago Yamaha did a XJ 650. It was a laid back chopper style. Not the the Harleys. A mix between a US Custom and a slightly more upright street bike. I had a few shots of one and it was ( in my opinion ) one of the most exciting bikes to ride at the time. Mid eighties from memory.

I had a Suzuki GSXF 750 and a Honda 650 some time ago. Both from new and sold with 2500 to 3000 miles on the clock. Barley run in.

    Great for the summer days.

Potter is coming along to the Elgin exhibition. He is in the very fortunate position that his other half encourages him in the hobby. ....... Wish they were all like that. :avatar:

Could be quite a gathering of the Platform1 team at Elgin. We can all have a go at seeing who can pull the best wheelie with my Deltic.

    Cheers

Hi and welcome Potter. Great to have you with us.
As Toto said, a few petrol heads on here, I've got a 1980 MotoGuzzi V50 mk 3 thats undergoing some resto and a few vintage stationary engines, my latest a Lister B from 1928.

Once you've got your head round how, post up some photos of your modelling

    Cheer's, Pete.

    G'day Potter,

Welcome aboard from a very wet Sydney. Seems like you have settled in nicely. Enjoy the camaraderie and banter that is P1MRC.

    Cheers, Gary.
