Hello, I'm very happy to be a new member of this great community. I read a lot of topics of this forum and I found them very interesting. I'm a huge fan of small, micro, plank and boxfile layouts. As a newbie, I need a lot of advices and it's the right place ! Kind regards, Chris
Chris as a scratch builder myself welcome and I'm sure there will be no shortage of good advice from very experienced modelers, no doubt the other Admins and Mods will be along soon to extend their welcomes too, interestingly there are quite a few superb micro plank type projects of various gauges on the go here currently and I always find it amazing what can actually be achieved in small spaces.
Chris welcome to the forum. Like yourself I am new and like yourself I like micro layouts, planks and dioramas. Chris you have come to the right place very friendly and informative.
Many thanks gentlemen for your friendly welcome. I'm very interested by the Scalscenes Industrial Boxfile Layout. https://scalescenes.com/product/ly01-industrial-boxfile-layout/
Hi Chris I was looking at the boxfile layout a short while ago. It looks nicely crafted and I suppose you can put your own stamp on it with weathering, locos and wagons.
Welcome to the forum Chris. Great to have you on board! I'm a fan of smaller layouts but in O scale. Can't wait to see what you've got in mind! Pete.
Hi Chris from sunny warm Spain thanks for posting already .. I've purchased the Scalescenes Box file kit myself for a build in the new year, don't know how it'll go but looking forward to the project … now get comfy grab a brew .. tinny .. schooner .. pint .. tipple and enjoy you're forum Ian vt
Chris and welcome to the Mad house. Just ask away, and I'm sure we'll do our best to answer. Once again welcome to the forum Paul
G'day Chris, Welcome aboard from Sydney. Like you, I'm into the small layouts, shelf layouts, micros etc. Plenty of inspiration on these pages to spur you on. As you have already perused theses pages finding interesting topics and such, don't be afraid to ask anything at all. The only silly question is the one you don't ask ! Kick back, read up and enjoy the camaraderie and banter that is P1MRC. Cheers, Gary.
As usual or as always , I made a BIG mistake with my damn PC (or maybe this device hate me. Who knows ?). Could a Staff Member help me ? Thanks. Chris
