November's edition of what's Neat with Ken Patterson contains : * Campbell Rice on modeling kudzu (aggresive vine) * Two more fantastic LEGO layouts * Matt Hermann speaks about ESU’s new DCC system & WiFi throttle * Jeff Parker from Central Valley shows how to assemble a 200' Parker truss bridge * Great runbys and much more Enjoy. Cheers, Gary.
I do like the look of the ESU Cab Control unit. Very nice and it proves that there is a controller out there for Toto's 16,000 locomotives !! Cheers, Gary.
That controller is a big step up on one of the other major ones on the market. Solves a lot of the horrible ergonomic issues of the other ones, also I'm assuming they won't interfere with each other if there are more than one in the same room. It would need something like that to get me across to the dark side. Cheers Tony
Tony.... have faith as when you get there (the dark side) it will give you unbridled access to an expanded range of human emotions! Elation, frustration, self satisfaction, self doubt, pity on those who do not go to DCC, empathy for those who do.... the list is endless and we find new ones every day. But when a loco starts off smoothly on speed step 1 (of 128) with 30 bogie wagons behind, then it does seem all worthwhile. It is, after all, a Sunday and here endeth the sermon. Cheers and happy modelling Richard
