I used  acrylics Gary, there is a mix on the layout with some enamels.
Looking at some wood today to sort a backdrop and plan some buildings.
I know I need point motors and some decoders but cash is in short supply at the moment due to SWMBO'd buying a load of stuff for the house!!

On my Lazarus track I sprayed it with Railmatch track and sleeper grime, its all the same colour but I will paint the rail sides with their rust enamel paint, hopefully it will look as good as yours Ron .

Cheers Pete.

Looking good Ron. I'd guessing that the back scene is at least 250mm high (10") ??

Here is a link to the grain silos (elevator) that I built :

Nice and bright Ron. It'll also bring the layout together a bit more as well. A nice big expanse of colour. Coming along nicely.
