Hi

To upload a YouTube video into your post as follows

Open your browser and navigate to the clip you want

Press the pause button to stop play back.

Click on the Share option

This will bring up the video address (URL), already highlighted

Press Ctrl + C to copy to the clipboard

Click on the button

Paste the URL into the popup box (Ctrl + V)

Click ok

And the video link will be inserted

Once you post the topic the video will appear

Paul

Hi Paul,

Maybe it is my PC, but all I can see is a grey screen with 'a plugin is needed to dispaly this content'. I first noticed this when CMDPLR replied to my posting (with a youtube link), after he/she explained the use of 'that' button.

Ho hum, I think I'll just keep posting a link instead... ;)

Cheers, Gary.

Hi Gary

You will need the flash player plugin, I am working on switching over to a HTML 5 code to dispense with the requirement for flash but it will be a while

Hi Gary, If you are using Firefox you can download the flashplayer plugin here
      https://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/
I have started using Chrome browser as it seams to work fine on here now after Tany's work and It has the latest version of flashplayer built in
Cheers
