Very convincing scenes there. You have done a great job there. I think your layout thread will be a must read.

Thanks for posting these up.

Cheers

Toto

All Reved up with nowhere to go.
After the layout work hit a stage close to completion I got a hankering to run some of my better stock.
When there's glue and grass ballast and paint on the go ...for so long and the only stuff you dare to use for track testing is the old and rough stock. It's nice to unbox and set up some of the favorites. At this point I think I got a bit carried away. These two modules are only 12ft long and all these trains are 6 ft each.
But I really enjoyed running em and checking they all worked well over the points etc .

Congrats on Pic Of The Week,

I enjoyed the video....somebody must have thrown the points wrong on the Santa Fe and a loco was sent to England.....:mutley2:

I like the concept of running the trains through those loops to change direction. Very clever in a small space.....well done...:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

Morning All. Thanks for all the congratulations.
I had no idea that I was so well recieved. I hope it proves
inspirational to other Newbies to get involved and show us all what you are up to.
The video look's very amature - because it is. But I really wanted a keepsake of it before we moved house. It got to a stage where I had to stop building and leave it alone. KnowIng the inevitable trip to the tip was looming. I always knew that house was a stepping stone and it wouldn't be there long term. (We were saving up to get a mortgage deposit) and it was a rental. But I needed to have a railway on the go. It's a bit of an addiction isn't it.
The Santa Fe Alco loco was something I really liked the look of.
We have seen so many USA films with train scene's and it was nice to get a model of one.

This was my first DCC layout and I didn't have any sound loco''s .
This was my first. I have a few US wagons also Bachmann items but the couplers are wrong they won't attach. Gotta sort that out really.
I digress - thanks guys I'm really pleased you liked my efforts.
MY WAY I DID IT.
