I have just bought some thin acetate A4 sheets for printing windows on.
Is it best to use a laser printer or an ink jet printer??
Anybody tried it and had some success ?
Cheers
Ron

I've used it before. Mines is an HP office jet printer scanner. As long as you have the tough side on the printing side, I'm sure both would be fine.

The results were OK.

Cheers

Hi Ron

check that the acetate is compatible with each type of printer. I have used both and found the laser produces the better results.

I had purchased some sheets from newsagent and used them in my inkjet printer & the ink ran off. I had to purchase sheets designed for Inkjet printers. A lot dearer than those I initially used.

I had purchased my acetate sheets form that auction site and I use an ink jet printer. Always print on the correct side, if you don't print onm the correct side, it will smudge. Also allow plenty of drying time.

As you can see, no problems with the inks running or smudging.

Cheers, Gary.

The warehouse kit is the one I need the windows for, otherwise I'll use the 'dirty' windows supplied on paper..
Thanks
Ron
